Overheard a guy at the coffee shop say 'January is for resting not stressing' and it kinda stuck with me...
I was grabbing a latte last Tuesday and this older freelancer was on the phone near the window. He said something like 'January is for resting, not stressing about the slow season. The work comes back in February.' I been beating myself up over only landing two small gigs this month. Makes me wonder if we put too much pressure on ourselves when things go quiet. Anyone else feel like January is just a weird month for everyone?

Honestly same, I feel like I deserve overtime pay just for getting through the day sometimes. Napping is basically just restocking my energy supply, right?
