The week my garage became a mountain of clutter

I tried to stack storage bins two high in my garage and ended up with a pile of junk everywhere after the top ones caved in. It took me five days and three trips to the dump to clear it out, but now everything is neatly shelved and labeled. Which is worse for you - the frustration of a bad system or the effort it takes to fix it right?

Had a garage shelf collapse last year. Took out my tool chest and a box of Christmas ornaments. Found my old baseball glove from high school under the rubble though. Funny how chaos brings back memories. Now I just stack everything on the floor. Less ambitious that way.

Oh man, my buddy tried organizing his shed last spring and ended up buried under fishing poles.

Your buddy might want to double check those support brackets next time. Those metal shelf brackets can only hold so much weight before they buckle, especially in a damp shed. Learned that the hard way with a shelving unit full of paint cans once.
