Seeing my guitar practice improve my pitch meetings
Strumming chords after hours helps me relax. I find that the rhythm translates into smoother conversations with investors.

Does strumming chords actually tune your ears to hear what people aren't saying? When you play guitar, you're always listening to stay in key, right? That habit of catching small sound changes can help you pick up on voice tones in a meeting. Your brain starts to notice little shifts, like when an investor hesitates or holds back. So it might be more about building your listening skills, not just finding a rhythm. Sharp listening could be the real secret to nailing those pitch talks.

Totally get what you're saying, @the_jake! My own awful guitar playing has definitely made me better at hearing the "but" coming in a chat. I can be strumming some truly sad chords, but it tunes you into those tiny pauses and shifts in someone's voice. Now I can practically hear an investor take a breath before they're about to give a soft no.

No way, my friend Dave swears his bass playing tuned his ear to hear fake interest in clients. He actually brought up @the_jake's point about sharp listening just the other day. Now he says he can spot a polite brush-off from a mile away, lol.
