That $5 logo project I took last month still stings
I figured some quick cash was better than nothing, but after 4 hours of revisions and a client who wanted a 'more professional look' for peanuts, I realized I just undervalued my own time in a big way. Has anyone else taken a gig under $10 and instantly regretted it?
@taylor.brooke is right, that kind of cheap work is a trap. I took a $7 logo once and the client acted like they were paying me a thousand bucks, asking for new fonts and colors all week. It's a hard lesson but it teaches you to walk away from anything under your time's worth.
