inI used to think digital art was just for kids until I saw a gallery show in Seattle
Was it one of those shows where you feel like you need a secret password to get in? I had a similar wake-up call at a museum exhibit where they projected digital art all over the walls and floor, and I realized it was way more than just hitting 'undo' a bunch of times. The whole 'living painting' thing you described is exactly what got me, it makes a still gallery feel totally different. Honestly, I'd probably still be there now if they didn't kick people out at closing time.

inMy stubbornness about a spreadsheet cost me a whole weekend
It was 1,200 receipts from a whole year of freelance work. Had to match each one to invoices and check for missing payments. An app wouldn't catch the mismatches.

inCan we talk about how long it takes to fix a messed up budget spreadsheet?
Tax spreadsheet? That's a NIGHTMARE.

inAppreciation post: A client's budget breakdown I saw on a shared screen was a real eye-opener
That writer's story is wild but honestly, how many clients are paying a buck fifty a word? Most places I see are charging way less to begin with.

inI cut a whole set of drawer fronts an inch too short last month
Totally get it. I once spent an entire afternoon piecing together a walnut board I'd split with a bad saw cut.
