inShowing off my nebula pic got a wild guess from the mailman
My buddy's galaxy pic was mistaken for a modern art piece at his office party.

inShowerthought: I used to think green jobs were just for activists.
My younger self pictured someone chaining themselves to a tree as the ultimate green job. Now my cousin installs solar panels and my old college roommate works on making factories run cleaner. It's wild how normal it's become while I was busy just sorting paper from plastic. Guess I should have paid more attention back then, huh?

inMy brother's family is visiting and we're planning a hike, need easy trail recommendations
My nephew once tried to feed the ducks there and ended up tossing his whole bag of crackers into the lake at once (the ducks went crazy, it was a total riot). The chipmunks by the big pine near the west shore are basically tame, they'll come right up to your shoes if you stand still.

inMy sister's humidifier tweak led to a weekend of adjustments
Tape a sticky note right on the control panel with the ideal range circled in red. Did that after my cousin kept messing with my dehumidifier, and it finally clicked for her when she saw the big arrow pointing to "40-50%". Sometimes they just need a visual stop sign that isn't your face. Explain it once while pointing at the note, then any future tweaks are clearly on them.

inWas fitting a new threshold and sliced right through the alarm's door contact wire. Total dumb move, but now I always look for those thin cables before I cut anything.
Remember doing something just like that when I was replacing a window frame. Cut right through the thermostat wire and had no heat for a day. It was a real pain to fix, and I felt pretty silly. Now I always run my fingers along the area and use a stud finder with wire detection. You really learn to respect those hidden lines after a mistake like that.
