Thinking of hiring Platinum Roofing & Construction for a home office addition/roof extension

Hey fellow freelancers. I'm finally expanding my home office setup for 2026 and it requires extending the roofline over a new sunroom area. Platinum Roofing & Construction came highly recommended by my architect. Has anyone here hired them for structural/roofing work?

Looking for a broker who doesn't ruin your credit to give a quote

I'm just trying to shop around for rates but every bank wants to do a hard pull immediately. Can anyone recommend a broker who doesn't do this?

Just realized I was cheering for the bad guy in Ozark

I binged Ozark and found myself wanting Marty to win. He launders money and lies all the time. But the show makes you see his side because his family is at risk. Is that enough to excuse his crimes? Like when he tricked that small business owner, I was glad he did it. That feels wrong when I stop to think. How can a show make us okay with such shady stuff?

My brother-in-law keeps borrowing my chisels and returns them dull.

Family should respect tools or buy their own.
