Seriously, I get your point but I see it completely different. Letting the water work isn't giving up, it's working with the paint instead of against it. You can keep hard edges by managing the water flow and where you put the paint. That so-called mess often creates cool effects you can't plan for. Tight control just makes my art look dead and forced. Learning to use water right is its own skill that opens up a lot of options.

Totally get what you mean Elliot about it not being that deep, but sometimes it feels like the "tidying up" is a whole other art project. Like, the stress of making your creative process look chill and pretty is its own full time job. I see these perfect videos and just think about all the stuff they moved out of frame, you know? It's funny how the behind the scenes has its own behind the scenes now.

I did that once telling someone to take melatonin who was on blood thinners, felt terrible after. Now I always ask "you on any other pills?" before suggesting anything, even over the counter stuff. Mixing meds is no joke lol.
