inJust burned $150 on a fancy 'AI email writer' that sent a pitch to the wrong person
Seriously? It's just a company name. Who cares if it got it right or not.

inTalked to a nurse about scalp health and it flipped a switch for me
My cousin Vinny is a barber and he found a weird mole on a guy's head last year. The guy went to a skin doctor and it was fine, but he still sends Vinny a Christmas card now. It's wild what you can notice when you're just doing your job.

inShoutout to the guy who told me to try a 4-inch grout float for tight joints
Feel your pain. I tried a four inch float on a small backsplash once and it was a total mess. The grout lines were all over the place. Ended up redoing the whole section with a smaller tool.

inSaw a video showing a 20-degree sleeping bag's comfort rating is actually for survival
Yeah, that survival rating trick is everywhere. Parker_hall5 is right, tents are the worst. A "3-season" tent often means you'll be cold and wet in spring rain. Same with waterproof jackets rated for "light rain" that soak through in ten minutes. These companies know we just look at the big number on the tag.

inI used to think a follow-up email needed to be sent exactly 48 hours later, but a quiet Tuesday in April changed my mind.
My old boss in Chicago told me to always wait three business days. I followed that rule for years until I sent a follow-up on a Friday afternoon and got an instant reply. Turns out the person was just clearing their inbox before the weekend. It made me realize timing is more about the other person's workflow than some perfect number of hours.
