I relied on an AI for conversation help and it backfired

Now I'm unsure how to improve my social skills without it lol, any tips?

So those basic questions really tanked huh. What did it tell you to ask, like "how is the weather" or something? Feels like a bad movie script. Did you try it on a friend or just jump into a random chat?

Wait, you actually used an AI to try and get better at talking to people? That's like trying to learn how to swim by reading a book. Those things just give weird, robotic advice that never works in real life. You gotta just throw yourself into actual conversations, even the awkward ones. Unplug from the tech and force yourself to chat with cashiers or coworkers about nothing important. It's messy, but it's the only way that actually works.

Ever tried taking advice from an AI and it just made things more awkward? I see exactly what @rayc94 means about how robotic it feels. I once used a program that suggested asking super basic questions, and it came off so stiff in a real chat. Practicing with actual people, even if it's just a quick talk at the store, slowly builds real confidence.

Totally, @the_rose, real practice beats any script.
