My air fryer basket handle snapped clean off yesterday.

Was pulling out a batch of frozen fries and the plastic just gave way. Had to use tongs to get everything out, which was a mess. Anyone know a good replacement basket for a 5 quart Bella model?

Plastic handles on those baskets are a known weak spot, especially with temperature changes. Check if Bella sells the basket as a separate part on their website before looking at generic ones. A lot of third party baskets don't fit right and can be a safety issue. You might have to contact their customer service directly, they sometimes send replacements for common failures.

My buddy's air fryer basket handle snapped right off during a cleaning. He tried a cheap replacement from an online store and it never locked in place right. He ended up having to buy the whole new unit because it just felt unsafe to use.

Honestly, that plastic just gets brittle. I had a similar thing happen with a microwave tray, just shattered one day for no clear reason. Makes you wonder about all this cheap stuff we're surrounded by.
