Serious question, what's your go-to trick for a stuck lowering block?
Got a big white oak removal in Springfield yesterday and the block jammed about 30 feet up after a heavy limb. Instead of climbing back up, I tied a slip knot on the tail of the rope and gave it a sharp, hard pull sideways. It popped free on the second try and saved me a ton of time. Anyone have a different method they like better for this?

Honestly, that sounds way too risky for my liking.

Risky how though? People throw that word around a lot. It's probably not as big a deal as it sounds once you look at the details.

Look at the fine print on liability and data handling. I had a friend who used a similar service and they got locked out of their own account for weeks over a minor billing hiccup. Customer service was a ghost town. The real risk is being stuck with no support when something goes wrong.

You said it's probably not a big deal once you look at the details, but that's the whole problem. The details in the fine print are exactly where they hide the bad stuff. My friend's billing issue was a tiny mistake, but the terms let them freeze the account completely. Reading the details shows you how risky it is, it doesn't make it safer.
