Why I stopped chasing the highest paying client and took a mid range one instead
After 6 years of freelancing I turned down a $150 an hour contract back in March because the client wanted 24/7 availability and took a $85 an hour one instead who respected my boundaries and honestly I have made more money and slept better this quarter than I ever did chasing the big paychecks, has anyone else found that client boundaries matter more than the rate?

Hows your mental health been different since you made the switch?

Did you actually feel worse after switching? Mine got way better when I stopped buying into all the hype about diet changes fixing everything.

Do you mean when I went plant based? Because I actually never made a full switch to anything, just cut back on red meat. My mental health got noticeably better though. I think the biggest thing was just paying more attention to what I put in my body, not the exact diet. I stopped feeling so sluggish after meals and that helped my mood a ton. But it wasn't some magic cure, you know? Just one piece of the puzzle along with sleep and exercise.
