Hit 100 late payments tracked in my spreadsheet yesterday

I started a simple log back in March just to see how often clients actually paid after 30 days. Yesterday I added number 100 and it kind of hit me how much time I've spent chasing money. Most were small amounts, like $200 to $500, but it adds up to over $12,000 total. Has anyone else tried tracking this stuff or am I just being obsessive?

Did you ever catch any patterns in who was late the most?

That's a rough milestone, I feel for you dealing with all that.

@maryr43 yeah milestones are weird like that. It's almost like society just expects you to hit certain ages and magically have everything squared away but real life never works that way.

The age milestone thing is brutal lmao. I hit 40 last year and felt like I was supposed to have my whole life figured out but I was still sleeping on a mattress on the floor and eating cereal for dinner most nights lol. It's like everyone else got a rulebook except us. My buddy turned 50 and was convinced he needed a sports car and a whole new wardrobe just to keep up with some imaginary standard. Society really pushes this timeline on you and then acts surprised when you're not living up to it. Honestly I just started ignoring the numbers and focusing on what actually makes me happy day to day.
