Unpopular opinion: sometimes ignoring client feedback actually leads to better results

A client told me my monthly reports were too detailed after 6 months of sending them, but I switched to a one-page summary instead of cutting the data and now they actually read the reports and ask better questions about their campaign metrics, so who's been in a situation where pushing back on feedback made things work out better?

Exactly this, @wadejenkins - clients see results then suddenly get your vision.

Trust your gut because most people don't actually know what they need until they see what works.

Man, you're speaking the truth right there... I remember second guessing myself on a big call and then later finding out my first instinct was exactly what needed to happen. It's wild how often that plays out.
