Lost $200 on a fancy booking system that promised the moon
Signed up for that automated scheduling app last February. The sales guy said it would save me 10 hours a week. Three months in and customers kept getting double booked. Spent more time fixing errors than doing actual work. Emailed support five times. Never got a real human back. Finally canceled and went back to my old paper calendar. Anyone else get burned by a 'time saver' that made things worse?

Oh man that sucks. My buddy bought one of those for his dog walking business and it sent three people to walk the same dog at the same time lol.

Three walkers showing up for one dog is a classic setup fail, I've seen it happen when the app doesn't cap the booking per time slot. Make sure your buddy sets a max of one walker per slot in the settings, that fixed it for me.

Oh geez, that's incredible. You'd think an app would be smart enough to know when it's triple-booked a single dog. I guess the algorithm figured if one walker is good, three must be better. Probably thought it was a pack of wolves or something.
