Vent: A customer in Phoenix yelled at me for an hour over a $50 invoice

He claimed the work was done wrong, but it was exactly what he signed off on. I finally calmed him down by showing him the signed contract and the photos from the job site. Has anyone else had a client completely forget what they approved?

My uncle ran a small cabinet shop and had a guy lose his mind over a drawer pull. The client picked it from a catalog himself, but was convinced it was the wrong finish. My uncle had to find the original order form with the client's initials next to the item number. People just blank on the details sometimes.

How often do you have to pull out the signed contract like that?

Got a client once who swore we used the wrong color paint. Had to dig out the can from their own garage with their handwriting on the lid. The look on their face was almost worth the twenty minute search.
