Walked out on a client at Starbucks last Thursday
He wanted a full brand package for $300. Logo, website, social kit, the whole deal. I told him my rate is $75 an hour. He said that's too much for "just making things look pretty." I packed my laptop and left. Didn't even finish my latte. Has anyone else walked away mid-meeting like that?

Heard a similar story from a designer friend who had a client try to negotiate down to $50 for a full rebrand. Good on you for not undervaluing the work.
