That client who asked for 'just one small tweak' 9 times
Had a web design client last fall who kept saying 'this is the last change I promise' before sending another 45-minute email of requests. After the 9th round of revisions on a 5-page site, I finally asked for more money and they ghosted. Anyone else have a client with a magical 'last change' that never ended?

Honestly this hits too close to home. Had a client last year who wanted a simple logo change and by the time they were done I had redone the whole brand colors and website layout. They kept saying "just one more thing" like it was a joke. Eventually I stopped responding because they wouldn't pay for the extra work either. Some people really think our time is free.

I mean that sounds so familiar, really feel for you on that one.

Man, how many times does someone have to hear "one last change" before they stop believing it? That's brutal, I've been there with a buddy who asked me to help with his garage gym setup, kept saying "just this one more thing" about the layout until we had moved everything around four times and he still wasn't happy. It's like they don't see all the extra hours piling up, the kind of hours that take away from dinner or sleep. You gotta draw that line somewhere or they'll just keep taking.
