Our street's shared coffee pot mornings are gone

Back then, neighbors would stop by with their own mugs for a fill-up and a chat (it felt like a real community). These days, it's all solo cups from machines at home, and we hardly talk. Has your area lost those little coffee connections too?

On my old block, we had a weekly coffee hour on Sundays. I always thought it was kinda silly until we moved and I felt totally disconnected. Now I get why those little moments matter!

Felt like a real community" is a bit much, it was just coffee. People are busy, it's not that deep.
