What finally changed their mind? Was it a new fact or how you explained it?

Did anything really change, or did they just give up? People often stick to their beliefs because it's part of who they are, not what they know. Facts usually lose to feelings anyway.

Ugh, seen this happen so many times. Sometimes people just pretend to change their mind to end the argument and keep the peace. They'll say "you're right" but inside they're just tired of fighting and still believe their old stuff. Facts rarely win, they just make people dig in harder.
