Remember it doesn't take the right buttons in the right order like a password. I mean, if the file is already selected and they just step on delete, that's it. Or sometimes they hit a bunch of keys and a shortcut pops up asking to confirm, and another paw slap hits enter. It's wild how a few random presses can line up with a bad command. Maybe it's just me but the computer seems way too eager to get rid of my stuff with zero effort.

What finally changed their mind? Was it a new fact or how you explained it?

Honestly I was in the same boat, thought they were just a gimmick. My niece used one for algebra last semester and it totally turned her grades around. It just has that weird patience a person sometimes runs out of.
