Reverse image search saved my $2,000 shoot from a stolen photo claim
Last month a client in Austin tried to hit me with a false DMCA after I used one of their old photos as a reference for a redesign. I ran their image through reverse search and found it was actually lifted from a stock site with a free license. I sent them the proof and a screenshot of their own copyright registration that had expired. They backed off fast but now I watermark every draft before sending. Anyone else dealt with clients who forget they don't own the rights to stock images they bought once?
