Hot take: Those ultrasonic injector cleaners are not a gimmick
I ran a set of older Cummins injectors through a cheap ultrasonic cleaner I got on Amazon for $120 after a buddy swore by it. The difference in spray pattern before and after was night and day, and the truck actually stopped smoking at idle. Anyone else have results that surprised them from something they thought was snake oil?

Right, the cheap Amazon special cleaner. I had the exact same experience with some injectors out of a 7.3 Powerstroke I was messing with. Let the thing run for a couple cycles with some cheap Pine-Sol knockoff and they went from dribbling to a perfect cone spray pattern. Feels like you're getting away with something when a $120 gadget outshines the dealership's $5000 setup. Kinda makes you wonder how much of the "professional grade" price tag is just the fancy cabinet. I'm still not convinced it'll fix a injector that's mechanically dead, but for cleaning up nasty ones that still work, it's a steal.

That "dribbling to perfect cone" is exactly what I saw with some old Cummins injectors.

Man, I read somewhere that those cheap cleaners work better than the expensive stuff if you just let em soak long enough.
