PSA: My old plotter ate a set of E-size prints right before a deadline
Happened last Thursday, 4 PM. The feed rollers just stopped pulling the paper. Tried cleaning them, no good. Had to rush the files to a print shop and pay $120 for same day. Anyone know a solid fix for worn rollers on an HP T795?
Wait, it ate E-size prints? That's a whole new level of disaster. Those things are massive and expensive. Can't believe it died right at 4 PM on a Thursday too, that's the worst timing.
Thursday at 4 PM is actually the best time for a plotter to go down. The IT and facilities teams are still on site, so you can get a service ticket in before the weekend. If it died on a Friday afternoon, you'd be stuck until Monday.
