Tried a CRM for follow-ups and it actually works

I was dead set against using any fancy email system for chasing leads, figured I'd just keep a notebook. After missing 3 callbacks in one month last fall I gave the free version of HubSpot a try. Has anyone else had luck with a simple template they use for follow-ups without sounding pushy?

oh is it REALLY that serious though? i get that templates are fine and all but honestly if someone ghosts me after two tries im moving on. unless youre selling something thats gonna change their LIFE they probably just arent that interested.

Oh man, I feel this. I literally forgot about a lead for 3 weeks because I wrote their name on a napkin and it got coffee spilled on it. Now I just use a simple "hey, circling back" email and it feels way less awkward than my old method of sending a smoke signal and hoping for the best.

Haha smoke signals, thats a good one! But seriously though, how do you handle it when that "circling back" email still gets ignored after a week or two? I've had people just ghost me and I never know if I should send a third one or just move on. Do you ever worry those follow ups are getting annoying, or do you just assume if they dont respond theyre not interested? Im curious where you draw the line between staying on their radar and being a pest.
