I rolled my eyes at LED masks for a full year before trying one
A client in my Denver studio kept raving about her $300 mask, so I finally borrowed it for a week. I used it for 10 minutes a night and my stubborn chin breakouts actually calmed down after just 4 days. I still think some of the marketing is hype, but I'm a convert on the basic red light for inflammation. What's a product you were totally wrong about?

Honestly, it's that deep, under the skin inflammation that feels impossible to fix. I was the same way with vitamin C serums, swore they were just making my face sticky for no real payoff. Tbh, giving something a real, consistent try for a week is what changes your mind, not just reading the hype. We get so stuck in our routines and what we think we know.

That part about being stubborn for no reason is so true. My friend had the same deep chin breakouts and swore nothing worked. She finally used a basic zinc soap for a solid month, not just a week, and it cleared up completely. Sometimes the fix is boring and takes longer than you want.

Yeah, the part about the "stubborn chin breakouts" actually calming down... that got me. I read this whole article a while back about how red light can help with that specific kind of inflammation, the deep, under the skin kind. I totally wrote it off as just another trend. But then my sister, who has the same issue, tried one of those cheaper wand things and her skin looked way less angry. Makes you wonder what else we're all being stubborn about for no reason.
