That germ party turns into a buffet real quick. All that nasty stuff from one client's skin just gets smeared right onto the next person. It's basic cross-contamination, and a fancy spa towel doesn't make it okay.

Used to think those spa towels were a clean barrier. Then I saw a tech wipe a client's neck with one side, flip it over, and use the same towel on their face. The warm steam just bakes all that gunk in. You're right, it's just moving the problem around.

Remember that gym hot tub that looked like soup by the end of the week? I saw a guy clip his toenails right next to it once, and I haven't felt clean since. Makes you wonder what kind of nasty stuff is just stewing in those warm, public puddles. At least a spa tries to seem fancy, but it's probably the same germ soup in a nicer bowl.
