Sat in a noisy cafe for 3 hours before I noticed the sign about their 2-hour limit

I was at a Brew & Beans in Austin trying to finish a logo revision for a Fiverr client when the barista came over and told me I had to buy another drink or leave. My timer was ticking on the order and I ended up rushing through the edits while standing at a counter outside. Has anyone else gotten burned by a cafe's time rules when you're on a tight deadline?

That exact thing happened to me at a local spot in Portland. Had a 2 hour window to submit a project and got the boot at 1 hour 45 minutes. Felt like I was scrambling through a parking lot trying to finish on my laptop.

Oh come on now, you knew the rules going in @drews55. Two hours is plenty of time, you just gotta respect the shop's schedule. If you're taking a spot at a cafe with a laptop for project work, you should be close to done way before the window ends, not scrambling at the last minute.

Man I feel that, guess my laptop is basically just a fancy paperweight when the clock runs out.
