Honestly, my dedicated office was the only reason I got anything done.

Remember how @the_laura said that? My buddy tried working from his couch and got nothing done for weeks.

Yeah, I was totally in Laura's camp for the longest time. Had a whole desk setup, thought it was the only way to focus. Then my AC broke in the office one Phoenix summer and I was forced onto the couch. Suddenly, I was finishing tasks way faster without that stiff office feeling. Kinda proves @garcia.wren's buddy's point that it can go either way, but for me, the couch just clicked. Now my fancy office chair just collects laundry.
