Went to a warehouse sale in Portland and saw how they store ladders - total game changer
They had these vertical rails mounted to the wall with simple hooks spaced every 6 inches. All their extension ladders just hang there taking up zero floor space. I got home and did the same thing with some leftover 2x4s and lag bolts. Cost me like 12 bucks. Has anyone else found a cheap way to get ladders off the ground?

Wait wait wait, you're saying those vertical rail systems at the warehouse cost MORE than 12 bucks for the whole setup? I nearly fell off my chair reading that. I always figured those industrial storage setups were like a hundred dollars minimum for the hardware. That's actually wild that you built the same thing for the price of a fancy sandwich. I bet your back is thanking you every time you grab a ladder now instead of wrestling it off the floor.
