PSA: chasing down a missing $340 payment took me 6 whole weeks of back and forth

I finally got the money after sending 14 emails, 3 phone calls, and one certified letter to a client who kept claiming they 'never got' my invoice even though I had the delivery receipt.

Oh come on, 14 emails is nothing. You guys would lose your minds back when companies would send you a paper invoice, then a reminder, then a late notice, then a final notice, then a collections letter, all through actual mail. At least emails don't clutter up your kitchen counter. Plus, having a paper trail of every single interaction is actually helpful if there's ever a dispute about payment dates or amounts. Just set up a filter and let them pile up in their own folder if it bothers you that much.
