inLast night, our book club debated a CEO's choice, and it mirrored my team chats.
Yeah, but what if we're just seeing our own work drama in every story, lol? Like @maxs15 said, the Ralph vs Jack fight is like CEO stuff, but I bet book clubs argue more about who gets to be Piggy since no one wants that job in real life. Fiction might not skip real problems, it just makes us look at the parts we try to avoid.

inShowerthought: Developing star photos used to take patience, but now my neck aches from hunching over a laptop.
You know what gets me? The time I drove three hours to a dark sky park only to realize I left my memory card at home. Had to use my phone, and let me tell you, those pics were a MESS. Trying to edit those later was like polishing a rock, just pointless. But hey, at least my back was fine since I was just standing there feeling stupid. Now I triple-check my bag every time, but the universe has a way of throwing curveballs.

inOur old basement had a manual timer for the hot water heater
Actually that timer gadget just adds more stuff that can break. Manually turning it was simple and you always knew it would work.

inVent: That cheap storage cube set I bought totally backfired
That point about 'out of sight, out of mind' really hits home. I mean, I've done the same thing with those cubes, thinking they'd fix my clutter. But it just gave me more places to stash stuff I should've thrown out. Now I have a closet full of them, and every time I see it, I feel guilty. It's like buying storage becomes an excuse to keep things you don't need. So yeah, I totally get where you're coming from.
