Dropped $300 on a spray gun that turned out to be garbage

Bought a cheap HVLP gun off Amazon for $300 and spent half a day fighting tiger stripes and orange peel. Anyone else had better luck with a mid-range brand under $500?

Three hundred bucks and it still came out looking like crap? Man, that's rough. I'd be pissed too.

Brought my car to a "pro" detailer once and they left swirl marks everywhere... told me it was normal wear and tear. Ended up spending another weekend fixing it myself with a random orbital buffer I borrowed from my neighbor. Some people just don't care about the work they put out anymore.
