Has anyone else had a random chat at an event lead to a real opportunity?
Colegarcia said it sounds like pure luck, but I see it as making your own luck. I got my current gig because I asked a guy about his band t-shirt at a coffee break. That chat turned into a freelance project that lasted a year. You have to be the one to start talking.
