Just got back from the coast and I'm frustrated
I visited Ocean City last weekend and every single boardwalk trash can was overflowing with plastic cups and straws. There were like 50 seagulls fighting over a single torn bag of chips. How are we supposed to push for change when even tourist spots can't figure out basic recycling bins?

You said "How are we supposed to push for change" but honestly I think the problem is us, not the bins. Half the people I see on vacation just toss their trash wherever because they're on vacation and don't care. Maybe the real push is getting people to stop acting like trash fairies will clean up after them.

My buddy Dave went to the same beach last summer and said he watched a kid drop a soda cup right next to an empty bin and the mom just shrugged. Made me wonder if we're all just too tired to care anymore.
