Showerthought: My lawnmower used to be a weekly chore, now it's a quiet Sunday

For years, I mowed my quarter-acre lot in Charlotte every Saturday morning with a gas mower. The noise and smell were just part of the routine. Then, three months ago, my old mower finally died. I bought a basic electric model on a whim. The difference is startling. It's so quiet I can hear the birds, and I'm not breathing fumes. I didn't even buy it for the climate angle, but not buying gas every week feels like a real win. Has anyone else made a switch to an electric tool that surprised them?
