Hot take: My best freelance week was also my worst sleep week ever
Last month I had a 70-hour week that landed me three new contracts but I barely slept more than 4 hours a night. Honestly, I'm torn between celebrating the grind and wondering if this is just a fast track to burning out. Has anyone else nailed a huge workload but felt like garbage the whole time?

Been there. The money feels great but that sleep debt hits you hard after a few days. Set a hard cut off at 10pm even if you're on a roll.

Yeah exactly. I learned that one the hard way too. That second wind after midnight feels productive in the moment but you end up paying for it the next day in spades. A hard stop is the only thing that works for me. I set a timer on my phone and when it goes off I shut everything down even if I'm mid-sentence. Your body can only run on adrenaline for so long before it crashes and burns.
