Ever try saying "segue" out loud? I used to think it was "seeg" for way too long. My trick now is to google the pronunciation before I use a word in a meeting, it saves the awkwardness later. What's the most surprising word you've heard someone mispronounce?

Oh man, that reminds me of my buddy who tried using his drill with a whisk attachment for mashed potatoes. He swore it would be faster. It was not faster. He ended up with potato glue all over his kitchen walls and a weird, rubbery texture that we still joke about. I can only imagine dough would be way worse, like it would just wrap around the bit and choke the motor. Some shortcuts really aren't worth the cleanup or the ruined food.
