inCan we talk about our book club's big fight over that meditation book's stress claims?
The thing nobody talks about is how meditation can actually make some people more aware of their stress. I tried that body scan method from the book and just fixated on my racing heart, which made everything worse. It assumes your inner state is a quiet place you can return to, but for some of us that baseline is pretty loud.
