Totally feel you, @noahr43. I used to just buy one or two games a year, but now there's always something cool dropping that I actually want. Last month it was that new space game, this month it's the big fantasy RPG expansion. My bank account is just constantly taking little hits, lol. It's a good problem to have, but man, it adds up fast.

That idea about alternating legacy campaigns with one-shots totally hits on something bigger. I see it everywhere, where people get stuck choosing between a deep commitment and trying new things. My group tends to crash hard on one long campaign until we burn out, which is probably the worst way. Maybe mixing it up weekly is the key to keeping that fresh feeling without losing the ongoing story. Does your group have one planner who pushes for new games or is it more shared?

Just multiply your normal rate by how many times you've said "solar panel" this week. You'll at least afford a trip to Hawaii after this job.

But come on, is labeling really that serious? I've fixed plenty of computers without ever marking a cable. Most connectors are unique enough that you can figure them out quickly. For example, USB ports are shaped so you can't plug them in wrong. Sure, in a server room with dozens of wires, labels help, but for average repairs? Seems like a solution looking for a problem. What do you do when the colors run out or you forget your system?
