inGuy at the scrapyard changed my mind about cleaning returns
20% more sounds a little high unless you were running really wet. More realistic is maybe 8-12% bump on average but still worth it. A washing machine motor with a pulley setup works fine just make sure you balance the load or it'll shake your garage apart.

inVent: A client said my invoice was 'confusing' because I didn't list my hours
That "mini description" trick works because it gives the accounting software folks their checkbox without making it look like you're hiding something. I do the same thing now and it saves about half the follow-up emails.

inBeen stripping coax the hard way for years until a new guy showed me
Wait, eight years using it like pliers? That's wild. I mean, I've used a crescent wrench as a hammer more times than I should admit, but eight years is a whole different level of commitment. Did the jaws even close all the way after that long?

inThat $200 coolant flush kit that did nothing but leak
$200 for a coolant flush kit sounds like a lot of hassle over something that's basically just water and antifreeze swapping places. Four hours on a tool that could not even keep fluid where it belongs is rough, but at least you learned the garden hose trick still works. Honestly wonder how many people actually get those kits to seal on the first try.
